Mitch Jarvis

Pastor Mitch joined the NUMC team in 2016. He is a Southwest MO native, an Eagle scout and USAF veteran. He enjoys fishing and fiction. Mitch has been married to his high school sweetheart and neighbor girl, Sarah, for 30+ years; they have two high-school aged kids, Abby and Willis.

Shelly Langland
Accompanist
When Shelly isn't teaching piano through Crowder College, she is playing the organ and grand piano for our worship services. Additionally, she leads our Monday AM prayer gathering. She is married to Warren and enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, affectionately known as "Junebug."

Karen Martin
Director of Family Ministries
Karen wears many hats and is responsible for guiding and resourcing Children's, Youth and Family ministry initiatives. Karen is a member of our choir and directs the handbell ringers. She is married to Joe. Together they are dedicated to their pooch Maggie and their out-of-state grandkids.

Dana Fox
Office Manager
Affectionately known as "the Church Lady," Dana has been in the church office since 1997. Her family includes two adult children and three grandkids she's very proud of. Dana enjoys houseplants, photography and her many church activities.

Jeryn Preston
Chancel Choir Director
Jeryn is a retired elementary music teacher; all
of her years teaching were in Neosho. She has
led the choir at NUMC for 28 years. She and her husband Mark love their three adult sons and
four grandkids. In her free time Jeryn enjoys scrapbooking and making her own greeting
cards.
Michael is one of the Southwest district's first Certified Lay Ministers. His duties include visitation, pulpit-supply throughout SWMO and maintaining NUMC's computers. Michael is a retired electrical engineer, is a USMC vet and is married to Dori.

Bill Carlsten
Property Manager
We keep Bill out of trouble by asking him to maintain our downtown campus (1890s structure,) our Christian Life Center and the parsonage house. Additionally, Bill leads the activities of the United Methodist Men, delivers Meals on Wheels and is a tireless community volunteer. He's a retired engineer and a Navy vet. He's married to Susan.

Mark Preston
A/V Ministries
By day Mark is a Neosho High School industrial
arts teacher. By night he's a super wood-
worker, craftsman and "tinker-er" with
anything electronic. He is a member of our choir and oversees the audio/visual aspects of our worship services. He is married to Jeryn and is dedicated to his grandkids.
